A characterful kitchen remodel in a roughly century-old home near UC Davis, designed to honor the house's historic charm. The palette leans into soft olive and sage greens — several shades from one family — paired with a custom wood hood, a classic subway backsplash, and a vintage-pattern tile floor that ties the room to the home's era.
We opened the kitchen into an adjoining room for a dedicated cabinet and prep zone, added a farmhouse-style sink, and layered the lighting — under-cabinet, recessed, and ceiling — while tucking outlets out of sight beneath the wall cabinets to keep the lines clean. A warm, classic result in a beautiful historic setting.
